Forsan ISD

Faced with increasing costs to maintain their aging roof, Forsan Independent School District contracted with DK Haney Roofing to install a Duro-last roof. The existing roof was reaching the end of it's useful life and the continual maintenance costs were skyrocketing. DK Haney faced several unique challenges with this job because of an extensive system of conduits and equipment mounted on the roof.

The roof was a modified bitumen roof system with a pea gravel coating. One of the first tasks involved removing the loose gravel in order to begin laying the insulation layer. In these two Virtual Reality images, you can see the gravel has been vacuumed up and the new roofing material has been offloaded onto the roof.
